Baron Von Sprinkles is the rock guitar god mascot of Überbot. The Baron is a simple guy - skull, heart and guitar. What more do you need? This post is linked to our gallery page. It serves as a graphics dump for official branding revolving around the Baron as well as fan art! Check back now and again as this section will be updated from now until the end of time.
Together Allegiance or Death BARON VON SPRINKLES!! - images after the cut!

The Lineup! We approached an expert in illustrator design, Julius Santiago, about working with us to create some fun mascot characters. We started with the basic idea of creating robots characters that didn’t have a definitive feel in any genre like comics, anime or designer toys. This isn’t an easy task. We went back and fourth with a few ideas and shapes. We like skulls, gas masks, V guitars, pretty hearts, ultraman, devilman … etc. Julius started sending us some quick samples based on those key words and one day we saw this guy - #4 Baron Von Sprinkles. It’s his first appearance!

The next step was adding some wings to the Baron for various branding opportunities. People still give us a hard time for never using the bat wing design.

The time came to give the Baron his body. This was the first attempt for Julius. Here is where we added our nod to Ming the Merciless with his giant collar. Also, an ego like Sprinkles requires a beltbuckle in his own likeness. We really enjoyed it but, in the end, it was decided that Baron needed to be on the tall and skinny side.

Bam! The popular Baron pose lives! That’s what we’re talking about!!

The Baron has many faces. We asked one of our favorite comic artists, Joel Carroll, to have some fun with the Baron design. Joel has always impressed us with his dynamic poses and costume designs. We were certainly happy with the results of these mighty sketches.

The name Baron Von Sprinkles is a play on the Marvel Comics character and leader of Hydra, Baron Wolfgang von Strucker. It was always intended to turn his head into an Überbot Hydra style logo. This would later become the inspiration for the website design. This image also features a new Überbot logo done by Terriby Odd!!
