We’re not very Otaku at Überbot but we are old school anime junkies. There isn’t much for us to get terribly excited about these days but there are rare exceptions. One of them is a remake of the classic Japanese TV show, Neon Genesis Evangelion! This series is at the top of our list for shows that can be redone. It was a best and worst in many ways so there is much that can be improved to solidify Eva as a true classic. “Rebuild of Evangelion” will consist of four movies. The first three movies will be an alternate retelling of the TV series (including many new scenes, settings, backgrounds, characters), and the fourth movie will be a completely new conclusion to the story! It all starts this summer in Japanese theaters! This is certainly something to keep an eye on!
