The Munnyocalypse has come to an end and all of the votes have been counted! If you were there, you will live to tell the tale. If you weren’t there … well, you’ll have to wait until tomorrow afternoon for a full post of winners, honorable mentions, the Top 10 list and, of course, loads and loads and loads of photos! Yes, we’re bastards for making you wait. We know. 
We’ve been waiting all week for new book day this week. Why? Because we really like new books!! Check the list below to see everything coming out today and then get your booty over to Uberbot and get some stuff!! We’ll see you later, alligator!
Every year the deadline passes and every year we allow people to turn in their Munnys past the deadline. Holy Smokes are we suckers for you beautiful people!! :) If you have yet to turn in your Munny, please be sure to get it in before Friday. Don’t forget to come to the show this Saturday at 7pm!!
With the Munnyocalypse coming up in a few weeks, we thought it would be fun to put together a little event T-shirt featuring all of the fantastic artists that have joined the rockin’ show! You can see the front of the shirt after the jump. The back will feature the artist names just like cities on a tour shirt. To make this happen, we need artists that will be submitting a MUNNY to our show to drop us a line so we can get the shirt ready for print! If we don’t get enough names in advance, we won’t be able to print the shirt. If you want in, just email us at steve [at] uberbotrocks.com and give us your name. That’s it! Easy pleasey.
New book day! Yes, it is a day late due to labor day. There are a few books we have to read this week. We also noticed Boys #22 is out. Number 22?? Wow, that book has been moving along. We love Ennis and Robertson but we gave up on that one 15 issues ago. Has it been good? Should we catch up? Curious.
Oh my, how the years go by. Some years are harder than others and 2008 has been a tough year for just about everyone. However, we are proud to say that we stand with our customers, helping when we can and offering our ears when they are needed. In turn, all of you keep us propped up and we love and appreciate you for it. We truly think of all of you as part of our family and today is the day we reflect on that most.
We now enter Uberbot year 4! We’ll take a hint from the political world and say that the future is all about change! We are very excited to make things bigger and better and we want to make all of you even more excited to be a part of the unique and special world of Uberbot! Thanks for standing with us! Year 5 here we come! Put on your tight pants!!
